  • The Galapagos Transit Control Card (TCT) is a mandatory requirement for all visitors to the Galapagos Islands, used to track visitor numbers and ensure sustainable tourism. It's essentially a Galapagos ID and needs to be kept safe throughout the trip. You'll need it to board your flight to Galapagos and upon arrival and departure. Here's a breakdown of the TCT: What it is: A form of immigration control used by the Ecuadorian government to monitor visitor movement in and out of the Galapagos Islands. Cost: $20 USD per person, paid in cash.

The Paris 99 trip was great. We enjoyed the driving tour of Paris, although we did fall asleep a few times as we were tired from the overnight flight from SLC. Our guide, Pedro, provided excellent information on the history of Paris and the sites we saw. The tour of Versailles was excellent, but we do wish we could have spent a little more time there.
