Even more incredible, this is the exact spot where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. We’ll admire Þingvallavatn, Iceland’s largest natural lake, and visit the Silfra fissure, famous for its crystal-clear waters and popular with divers and snorkelers. Along the way (30 min drive), we'll visit a geothermal area where bread is baked underground and even try boiling eggs in a hot spring! Today, we dedicate our journey to the romantic South Coast of Iceland — a land of endless lava beaches, dramatic basalt cliffs, and breathtaking scenery that will leave no one indifferent. This is one of the most picturesque regions of the island.
