Our tour to Humantay Lagoon will begin with hotel pickup between 4:30 and 5:00 am, and then we will board our transportation to the district of Mollepata (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival in this small and picturesque town, we will have an American breakfast and then some free time to use the restrooms, purchase sports drinks, and snacks. We will then continue our journey for an additional hour to Soraypampa, at an altitude of 3,900 meters above sea level (the starting point of our hike). Our adventure begins with a panoramic view of the Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains. Our guide will give you a brief description of the hike, along with recommendations and instructions before beginning the ascent. Once ready, we will begin our journey to Humantay Lagoon, located at 4,300 meters above sea level. After an approximately hour and a half climb, we will be able to appreciate the magical lagoon at the foot of Mount Humantay. There, we will receive an explanation of the site and, of course, free time to photograph, enjoy, and explore the shores of Turquoise Lagoon. Once we have enjoyed the majesty of this place, we will return to our vehicle, which awaits us in Soraypampa. We will then return to the town of Mollepata, where lunch awaits us. We will then return to Cusco, concluding our tour at approximately 5:00 p.m. This tour will include a guide and transportation and be an additional $100 per person.
